Our Story

Frank A. Corriher started the company in 1953, drilling with a homemade shot rig and 2 ½ inch wells. In 1965, he purchased his first air drill rig and went to 6-inch wells. We are still drilling 6-inch wells and using a more modern air rig today. Frank passed away April 4, 2022. His legacy continues with our company.

 

Danny Corriher, Frank's oldest son, started running the rig full-time in 1970 and continued to work until he passed away in 2016.


Ricky Corriher (the youngest son) is a licensed, certified driller with 40+ years of experience in drilling and pump service.


Tyler Corriher, third generation and son of Ricky Corriher continues to carry on the family business. He began working in 2011. He can be seen at all new well construction jobs and most pump repair jobs. He is key to the operation of the company.

 

Susan Corriher, the wife of the late Danny Corriher, started working in the office in 1975 and took over Danny's ownership of the company after he passed. She is now enjoying the retired life!
